I have a handheld HD camcorder that takes wonderful, crisp, and vibrant video in the daylight, but bombs out at night. I watched the ISO video and all was explained!! I blacked out a room, used an external light source, cranked down the ISO exposure, and voila! Seemingly magically, my inexpensive handheld camcorder became the perfect investment in HD recording, and now Ive ordered one of the portable0 HALO lights Ive always wanted to achieve perfect video shots!! I really appreciate this course. You do a great job explaining the basics in a realworld, visual way.

This course is very good in explaining the use of the different modes such as F stop, Shutter Speed, Manual modes. It also explains how to adjust ISO to double the sensitivity to light, which comes in handy. He does recommend shooting at ISO 100 most of the time. It is definitely a good explanation of basic photography. If you are an advanced shooter you may not need this, but it is still a good review for anybody.
